Here are my get rich quick schemes from when I was a preteen:
*Polish my grandma's silver for big bucks
*Ask my parents for extra chores for extra bucks
*Ask neighbors if you can weed their gardens for cash
*Babysit!
*Pet sit!
*Offer to walk dogs for busy or vacationing neighbors
*Make bracelets - the kind with crosstiching thread that have all kinds of cool design possibilities and sell them on eBay (I didn't have the eBay option when I was a kid...you'll have to get an adult to go along with you to set up an account)
*Sell your stuff (yard sale or eBay)
*If you are into art, buy a bunch of cheap clipboards and paint them to sell (yard sale or eBay)
*Think about the things you are good at and how you can turn those things into money making ideas. Painting nails? Maybe set up a nail salon like a lemonade stand.
Good luck getting the big bucks! |

If you live in a good neighborhood, go door to door and ask about dog walking make a schedule up and and set times in the early evening for the walks and sign people up for $3 dollars a walk...it could really add up, say you did 2 dogs ever night for 2 weeks you would make $42. |

Your local library will have a number of good for kids, teens and tweens that will give you some awesome inspiration for ideas that you guys can do for money. One title is "Fast Cash for Kids" by Bonnie & Noel Drew. Your Librarian can suggest others. Don't wait for others to check them out... get to the library tomorrow to reserve some of the great books out there and then READ them. There can be good things ahead but the books won't come to you. |

You can offer your services to the neighbours, like mow the lawn, paint fences, help them around their house for a fee. You can make a card or paper with a phone number, offering your services around your house, and maybe someone will call and ask for your services. |

Today, kids dont mow lawns and sell lamanade. When i was 10,11,12,13, i always used to buy things whether it be from a yard sell, or from a store, and i'd sell it to other kids. I also bought stuff for other kids who couldnt get the things they wanted and charged a bigggggggg fee. lol. hope i helped. |
