Assuming you are the country bumkin, you have to see what that image means to you. Most people will limit themselves by the self-image they have. I watched Michele Obama on TV yesterday telling how she came from this family where he father was just an average man who put both of his kids through Princeton. He had to have a vision of this happening. If his image was of him just being a hard working man who would raise his kids to do the same he did they would have not accomplished all they did. Now his daughter may be First Lady. It doesn't matter where she came from but where she can see herself going. So learn about self-image. Make sure your beliefs match someone who would build teams & get immediate results. If not clear out what believes would be opposed to this. You might need to find some country bumpkin's who can be mentors. I am not sure the word bumpkin will give you a positive image. So look for people who live out in the country who are doing what you want to do & get about 5 people who you can pick the phone up & call at anytime & they will share their wisdom with you...I did this is a different area of my life. I struggled because all I could see after my son passed away were people who had a really hard time. Then I found someone who learned how to live. She became my mentor & she passed away in Febuary but she saved my life. So mentors may be hard to find but look for them they are out there.

The thing that is required to take charge and to build a team is: the ability to build relationships. The only thing you sound like you need is confidence in yourself. A little free e-book helped me out a lot: "Success In 10 Steps”. It's a quick download, and a hilarious read! Lots of good homespun wisdom that will really help you in the relationship marketing game.
