Yes, with good research and hard work you can. Just beware that it will require a lot of effort and risk on your part. You can reduce the risk by developing a business plan and sticking to it. Many businesses fail because of mistakes on the owners part. You can prevent this by doing your homework during the planning stages of your business creation. Even with good planning their are still factors out of your control that can ruin your business. The stress of it all can make you wish you got a degree and "followed orders". |

Of course, you are thinking just like me. I had my first and last job at 16 years old. I didn't like to work for others so I started my own business at 17 and I am doing quite well and working on other business projects as well. And with the statistics, don't listen to that, its just a way to bring you down from pursuing your dream. For now you can work a full time job if you need the income and do your business part time until it grows for you to do it full time. And with college it is always best to get a business degree for entrepreneurs just to learn how to run a business and its finances. So if you have the time and/or money go to college and take accounting and finance classes so you don't have to pay someone for those services and/or get conned out of money by a accountant (some business owners are clueless about the field of finance/accounting and accountants can steal money due to their lack of knowledge on finances). But its worth it I am a finance major and business owner so it is possible. So follow your dreams |

Yes it depend how dedicated you are and how hard you work at it make your money work for you not you working hard for the money to just go straight through your hands remember once you become a bus owner your responsible for what take place and it will all lie on your head because you will be the head of the business so show some compassion to your wsorkers that wilol be working for you. |

If you've got a quality product or service,then customers will remember that and keep frequenting your business. But if you're the type to make a buck and screw the customer AND your employees,then it will show.
That's what gets me about a family owned business. The parent(s) build up the business and its reputation,then leave it to the kids who get greedy and think that if "I make this cheaper and tscrimp on that,I'll save money and make more profit".
Businesses come and go,but quality never goes out of style.
Don't worry about making money. Put the customer first. And if you don't know all of your employees by their first name and something about their families,then you've gotten too big. Take care of your employees and they will take care of you and the business. |

Everybody lead their own life whether they are just following others or doing what they are passion about because they are the one that made the decision not others. And how they made decision is depended on the knowledge they have. It doesn't matter thru college or life experience but the values of their knowledge that is important.
Wealth or be a millionaire is only the rewards for people who are going for all those trouble looking for knowledge and implement it patiently because they believe in themselves. They know they are the one who set their destiny. Any roadblock is just a sign that if they push a little bit hard will only get them a little bit closer to glory.
