i listed a item for sale on ebay and someone offered me a £50 for it so i sent them a invoice through paypal (out of ebay)the person recieved it saying it has a stain on and pulls and other things etc when i know for a fact it was fine,however she is asking for some money back for it (£20)i offered her £10 a but shes not interested and on about going through a paypal claim what is is best i do as i know that top was fine and i think she is trying to pull a fast one,but with paypal its my word against hers,any help would be appreciated it thanks in advance xx |

Well having recently been ripped off myself, I would advise getting the item back cause she can have her payment reversed (like my buyer did 2 weeks AFTER receiving item, which they also kept!!!) and Paypal will NOT help at all!! I totally refuse to use them now cause they didnt want to know even knowing I had proof of postage and they had the item which was not cheap!
Get your item back, before you get ripped off hun!

Tell her to return it and you will refund her, her money excluding costs and listing fees as it was not stained or had any pulls in it.The trouble with ebay is the world is full of pricks and a lot seem to congregate on that site.AVOID PAYPAL |

offer full refund upon return of the top, sounds like she is trying to pull a fast one (this is one of the reasons ebay tells you not to do things like that as you have no protection from ebay if you do). dont give her any partial money back, if its that bad why does she want to keep it? |

Tell them to return the garment (which will be at their own cost) and you will give full refund (less the postage costs). Alternatively they can keep the garment and you will give them a refund of £10.

Did you offer the item with photographs when you advertised it?
If so, do you still have those photos and do they show her claims to be wrong?
Otherwise, you simply have to argue it out and accept a possible disputed rating. I had someone try to pull the same crap with me, which is why I always have multiple photos of anything I sell. |

Don't give her anything. Eventhough you never know what may have happened during shipping, it's always "Buyer beware, as is where is" Report her to e-bay and forget it |

The term is "buyer beware". Don't give them anything back. Just go through the claim and be honest. Most likely they scammed before and will have lots of claims going through.
Or as you have the address just go and smash her windows in. |
