Unless you have something to sell or are qualified to teach online, you're wasting your time trying to work from home. It's a pipe dream. If it was so easy, everyone would be doing it. Best get off your butt and get a part-time job somewhere or go to a temp agency if you are desperate... unless you ARE qualified to teach, in which case you can do a search and find literally dozens of teaching opportunities. But you have to be able to prove your qualifications in whatever field you say you can teach in. Aside of selling stuff you own, it's the only legitimate way to make money online.

It depends on your skills. Bookkeeping in the home has always been a good way to make money or doing tax returns if you are qualified. Ask your employer if they have something you can do as a special project at home.
I have formatted financial statements from home but had used the software about 10 years including doing support for 4 years. I made $50 an hour doing that 15 years ago. I also did some software testing from home and did tech support for a few years from home on weekends and evenings after doing it at work all day.
