Can anyone suggest a good small business to start with, while im still employed?

Online: eBay, your own websites
At home: Telemarketing
Others: Dog walking, babysitting

Start making jewelry. If you have a creative mind, it's easy. You can either buy beads, chain, findings, crimps, etc at specialty shops that sell that stuff or order supplies online.

Then you can either offer the work to people you know or go to another business, like a salon and ask them if you can sell them some jewelry for them to sell to clients. Or even ask if you can leave the jewelry there and let the clients buy it then give the shop a small percentage of the profit.

It's fun to do. I started making jewelry last year and I do sell it in my shop.
