Can employees fire their boss?
I have the worst boss ever but I have great co-workers. We enjoy working together, but our boss just drives us crazy. He always takes obviously wrong decisions and doesn’t want to listen any of our advices. Of course most of the time he’s not in the office and we do the business in the way we believe is right. But when he shows up is a disaster. He ruins all of our ideas and efforts, creates one big mess and leaves again. We don’t want him to be our boss, but he owns the company. Is there a way we can fire him, in case we all don’t want him there, no exceptions.

take your co-workers and start a new company in the same field :)

Ha, no, are you serious? Obviously the employees can't fire the owner of the company...
Unless all of you own stock in the company and collectively own more than him. Then you could have a shareholders meeting and vote him out of control. For some reason, it doesn't seem like this is your situation.

Bosses typically do ruin everyone's day, it's part of the power trip of being the boss. But as for firing him? Keep dreaming...

Yes it is possible, especially if you all work together as a group. I've done it.

There is a way. Well I saw it in an episode of Star Trek, but I read it in the paper as well the other day. Basically if you claim that your boss is not in a fit mental state and have some form of evidence to back up this claim (colleague statements) then it is possible to get him removed from power. It would need to be quite substancial in that sense.

But I'd only recommend that as a real extreme. That's the only way in which an employee can overturn a Superior's decision I believe. Unless he's really abusing his power and then there are union laws for that kinda thing.

Well, if it is his own company, there is no way to fire him. Think about it, you are the employees. The boss is the boss, no matter what the employees think about them. But say there was an advisor above this boss, you could talk to them to get him fired.
i guess u are stuck with him, so just talk to him as a group about his behavior, and try to think of ways to solve this problem. do not attack him as being a bad boss, just talk to him about what he does wrong and how he can improve.
take care and good luck!

Do we work together? My boss is exactly the same way except he doesn't own the company. He's just got his head so far up his bosses a** that he has became his bosses bottom half. His boss isn't any better. Good Luck on finding someway to get rid of him but the only way I can think of is to buy it from him or go start your own business and run him out of town.

even if u guys fire him you all will be fired.

If you want to "fire" your boss, you quit. Then you have effectively fired him as YOUR boss.

If you want the company to fire him, try to go to upper management and voice your complaints. They may or may not listen and they may or may not care.

The boss is always right. Further more you are the employee and you will do as you are god d--- well told and you will mother f----- like it.

Type up a memo each time your boss is not available.
Also include facts that he is not running the company but the employees are. Gather all true information and send it to the Head Boss of the company. Do not sign it.
Just end it with: Just thought you need to know.
Ask them to keep a close eye on your boss without him knowing it, to catch him at his own game.

Live Life the fun way!
no because that's like if your a kid and you want to fire a teacher I'll you can do is tell the principle. in your case the principle is the head office and the teacher the boss.

Katy
i dont think so...
