I am currently active army and would like to run an online business. I am aware the army comes first. with the technology now a days i would think i should be possible to balance.

Of course you can. However, if you are subject to deployment overseas, then you'll need to have someone to take over running the business until you get back. It really depends upon the job you do in the Army and you deployability status. From your question you have already answer yourself. Yes, it is all about good time management. Depending on the type of online business all you might need is an hour or two per day.

There are some online programs which will earn for you as long as you put in the initial work. After that less of your time will be required because the business is positioned to take care of itself somewhat.

If you dont have one as yet I could recommend one that works. It is not a lot of money but it can help - even if you already have an online business this is still extra income.

I assume your active army is not permanent and last for a few years only.
If this is the situation, do consider doing a joint-venture or partnership with someone that is not in the army.

I'm sure its possible, many active duty military moonlight in one sense or another. Depends on the business. You should also have a talk with your CO.
