as i have just started up a sweet stall and mobile sweetshop in milton keynes. If i cant advertise on here any suggestions how to promote my business with a limited budget.I also provide sweets for childrens parties, wedding favours and fundraising. Thanks in advance
Have you considered getting a freephone number, and combining it with a leaflet drop? Depending on whether your sweets are reasonably healthy, or crammed with E-numbers, you may also consider approaching schools/nurseries, perhaps offering them a percentage.
Good luck.

If you haven't read the rules for this forum, I suggest doing so. There is no spamming allowed of any form.
In short no. It is a yahoo no, no. You could get your own web-page, have yourself put in yellow pages and get your local paper to run a feature on you, they are hungry for stories. Advertise in your local paper, and on your van. Make sure your stall stands out. Not to be overlooked is having a reputation for having top quality goods. Good luck.

try putting a few small ads on e-bay to generate some interest and income.
apart from what people say about e-bay, it really is a cheap form of advertising to start off with, and you have nationwide coverage.

Do you have local free newspapers in your town, usually advertising in them is good because it is not expensive and only deals with the local market where your operation is doing business.
Check it out, Make a good picture ad, and run with it.
