Seller's remorse -- when the item did not fetch as high as the seller expected.
Unfortunately, if you don't sell it to the highest bidder because the price you wanted was not met, this is the fastest way of getting a NEGATIVE feedback. You'd be disappointing the buyer and if the buyer really wants the item, s/he can retaliate and give you a negative
Check eBay's list of allowed cancellation of a transaction. If you send an email and the buyer does not respond or pay within a given time period, then you can cancel the transaction. |

you must list a reserve price before listing item for sale..
want 100 dollars--you put reserve of 100 dollars so it does not sell for 25 dollars on low bidding..
reserve not met==then item does not sell... |

No, not if it was listed without a "reserve price" and the listing has closed at a price lower than you'd hoped for. However, when you list, you can set a minimum amount that you will accept, and if no-one bids above that "reserve price", the items will not be sold to the highest bidder, but will remain unsold. |

IN ADVANCE of the sale, you can put a restricted price on an item (called a Reserve) Once the item has been bid upon and won, you cannot renege on the sale, unless the buyer agrees. (Unusual, but it could happen) |

not a good idea. they will leave negative feedback and ebay will send you nasty email and stuff. better luck next time...cause you gonna have to eat that one. unless....you come up with a great excuse...like you accidentally broke whatever it was while preparing it for shipping and get ebay to nullify the auction. |
