Like the other poster:
"I am sorry that I am unable to perform to your satisfaction. I think it best that you find someone else who can better fit your requirements." |

I would tell her politely that you don't have the time to do her house any longer, and give her an end date. If she asks why, then tell her the truth and see what she says. If she is as picky and unhappy as you say she is, she probably won't ask you any questions when you quit anyways. |

She sounds like my old boss! You don't happen to live in Reno, do you? haha.
Seriously, I'd just call her and tell her that she needs to find a new person to clean for her. If she asks why, simply state that you don't appreciate the way she treated you. |

Tell her that you got a offer somewhere else and that if she can match it ,that you will stay or you will have no choice but to take the better deal. Hopefully that will help get you paid more or get you out of cleaning that house. |

Just tell her you are not going to be available to clean for her any more. You don't have to give specifics on why. After about 10 people quit in a row, maybe she'll get a clue that she's the problem. |

Send her a letter that says you resign. |

Dear Customer:
It appears I am unable to meet your needs, and I no longer can clean your home. Please call with any questions, Thanks . |

Just call and politely tell her that unfortunately, due to circumstances you don't wish to go into, you can no longer continue working for her. Maybe you could give her a "two week notice" (or whatever would be reasonable depending on how often you clean her place) of sorts so she can find another maid. There's no need to say anything mean, you never want to burn a bridge. |

Did you sign something or agree to work for her for a long time? if not, just tell her that you will not be able to continue to work for her. you don't need to give her an excuse.
I run a cleaning company and have learned that you can't always make everyone happy. Even my best workers sometimes get bad reviews from some customers. Good luck. |
