The auction ended 11 days ago, which isn't too bad, but the seller took the link to the auction off the site. I payed with a money order the day after I bought it. I have heard no response from the seller, what should I do?

Make sure you leave negative feedback for the seller too! this is important to protect others. I always look at the feedback. You no longer have to worry about them giving you negative feedback because eBay changed the rules. The seller will receive it alone. Feel free to email me if you need more help. I love ebay. |

Use the contact the seller option to make sure they've received the MO. If they have, ask when you should expect it to arrive. |

Send an email to the seller asking politely where the item is. 11 days is not an unreasonable amount of time to wait for an item. You must remember that they had to wait on your check first. Check their profile to see if they have a mandatory waiting period for the money to clear.
If you haven't received a reply to your email in another week then I would begin to submit a complaint to EBay.
Problems like this are the reason it is so crucial to check out a seller thoroughly (Feedback, number of sales made recently, prices compared to other sellers of the same item - if one is WAY cheaper than all the rest AVOID AT ALL COSTS). |

You cant do anything.....You just got hosed. Try to report them but dont expect to get your money order back. Hopefully this is a lesson learned to never send checks or money orders...only use Paypal...this way you will at least get half your money back. |

Email them, you can still contact them by logging in and going to "my ebay" click on "items won" and click on that item and click on "ask seller a question" and ask them where it is. I have been doing ebay for years and 11 days isn't horrible, if they lived far away it could take 5 days for your money order to reach them, then they may have had to have waited till the weekend to ship it. If it's a big seller they may not email their customers when they send out an item, if I sell alot at one time I don't email people. |

Under the "items won" category on your "my ebay" page, there should be a list of actions associated with the item you won (a pull down menu). One of those actions should be "report item not received". Click on it and report the item as not received. Ebay has a set amount of time it makes you wait in order to do so, however. If it has not been long enough since the auction ended to report it as not received, stay on top of it and don't let it slip. Ebay will send the seller a reminder once it is reported as not received, but it's doubtful you will get your money back since it was a money order. Not much ebay can do about that. If the seller scams too many people, ebay can remove them as a registered member, but that's about it. If you pay via paypal, you can file a claim and get your money back. |
