Don't be daft - why quit? Socialising with your work colleagues is not an offence. There is always someone who embarrasses themselves at the works Xmas party. I'm sure no-one thinks any worse of you. |

Don't quit your job, we can all be a little silly over booze some time, when you go to work, just keep your head down, it will all pass, and by and large people will just laugh about it.
Have a Merry Christmas, but watch the alcohol level. |

You are not the only one who have or will do something like this at a works Christmas party. Don't worry, you might get some ribbing for it but it isn't worth qitting your job over. |

You were drunk and obviously others could tell, so you should have no problem. Apologize and assure them that it will not happen again, and then don't do it again or you just might have to quit then.
Good Luck! |

Everyone does silly things when drunk and a work party isn't usually the best place to drink. However, I don't think you should quit your job. Go to work and if people say anything just try to brush it off. Admit you had too much to drink and you won't let it happen it again. It will pass in time.. |

ooh dear, this is so typical of the works christmas party. i wonder how many other ppl will do the same this year. dont worry, ppl will understand but i think you do need to apologise to your team member for upsetting them. hopefully they will forgive you. as for asking your boss for a pay rise. i expect they wud expect that.
my partner works for a union and he says his busiest time is after christmas sorting out the messes ppl get in at christmas parties so yours sounds quite tame, dont worry |

Lol - classic! No don't resign. You're just going to have to do the walk of shame in the office tomorrow. We've all (well mostly) been there at some point!
So what. If they can't see the funny side that's their problem. I think it's probably absolutely fine. You don't seem to have snogged the post boy and called the boss a w**ker so it seems pretty tame to me! You'll be fine. Apologise if you need to, otherwise hold your head up and carry on as normal! Good luck. |

Im sure worse has happened before you. Chances are everyone else was drunk too and are thinking about what they did. No need to quit. |

No Way!!! You gotta go back for that pay raise. Don't be a quitter. You sound like fun. I'm sure you'll have more friends now than before. Life is full of upsets, I wouldn't worry if you upset one person but if you upset everyone, that's a different story. Sounds like you may have a lot more new friends. Stick around. |

No don't quit. You wont be the first to have made a prat of yourself at a Christmas party and you wont be the last. Bluff it out tomorrow, you'll be the talk of the office for most of the morning but then it'll be forgotten.....till next year when you should try to stay off the booze and show you can be a good boy |

They say a drunken man/woman speaks what's on their mind. Your true character has been exposed but then again you let down your defences. Things can be uncomfortable for a while but for now you'll have to run the gauntlet or eat humble pie. At least now you've got things off your chest so go forward with confidence! |
