if we could mange the time we could have have with family. the profession it self need dedication and hard work as well as lot of memorization. in the beginning i faced a lot of problems and my GF was so much upset due to my profession ; ). the reason i found was lack of time management. once i managed the time it worked. |

The drummer in our old guy Oldies Rock band has been a CPA for 40 years. He also raised 4 kids, spent many weekends at the lake, has a condo on Hilton Head and takes a nap everyday. Everyone has the same amount of time, it's where you put your priorities that counts. good luck! |

Life is what you make it. No matter what profession you decide to go into, you should always make time for yourself to enjoy friends and family.
The accountants that don't have time for fun are those that don't make time for fun. I used to be in that category. I learned, as with everything else, that you have to fine tune time management skills. Balance priorities as much as possible so that you don't get burned out. Leave work at the office and have a cut off time even if you work from home :^)) |

You can make time to do things you enjoy if you want to. If you are an accountant who wants to have his own business, then no, you might not have time at first. Most entrepreneurs put in way more than the usual amount of work hours.
If you intend to work for someone else, only agree to a 40 hour work week, problem solved. |
