I recently started my home-based business as an independent consultant with Cookie Lee Jewelry, and I love it! I've already had wonderful success. What's great is that because I am able to wear the product I am selling, I don't have to give them a sales pitch or make promises--people either love it or hate it. (And, I have not met anyone who hasn't loved the jewelry!)
If you'd like a catalog and more information on the company or becoming a consultant, you can contact me through my website at www.cookielee.biz/juliecott
I hope that you find the company that works best for you. Good luck! |

I have a friend (two actually) who have done or do Pampered Chef.
The bottom line to any one of these business is how do you love the product??
If you can speak from the heart.. you are in and do you have a friend who will throw you your first "party" go for it.
I suggest reading and purchasing the magazine called Success From Home - it has other options and great success stories.
I actually know people driving the White Mercedes all thanks to Arbonne -
Also I have been to southern Living and haven't found the things as "useful" as health or wellness or something for the kitchen. |

You can also repair credit for Mortgage companies. They are more than willing to outsource their credit-challenged clients to you. You fix their scores and hand them back to the mortgage company as a client with buying power. Everyone leaves happy. |

Yes I am a independent pampered chef consultant. I have just moved to a new state but in my past state I did ok. Its just a matter of knowing your area. You don't want to be "toy" consultant if you live in an area where those aren't popular.
If you have any questions about pampered chef I would be willing to answer them for you. Just email me through my profile. |

I have a friend that does ok selling on e-bay. Another friends wifes does the Mary Kay thing and they make enough to take a nice vacation every year.
There are hundreds of home based businesses out there and to be successful you have to work at it consistently.
The website, entreprenuer.com lists lots of examples and does give you some tips. Do some research. If one sounds fishy to you, check with the BBB or Federal Trade Commision.
If people are soliciting you on this forum for their home based business here, they are not successful if they are looking for people here. The odds are they got into something and maybe it is legit but they are not doing anything in their own area so they are taking an easy way out to try to find people here. |

You could always become a loan officer. There is a lot of money to be made in the mortgage indusrty, and it is something you can definitely do from home. I am a mortgage broker in Texas, and 3 of my loan officers work primarily from their home. |

yes. however we have a business.
translation - we have customers, clients, associate and other folks that work with us.
we do work hard so we can have family fun.
we do what job people won't do so we can have what they won't have.
we learn what our bosses didn't want us to know. we provide services and products to people who don't want to live the 'Walrus mart' life. we don't compete with them.
we do provide product loyalty.
touch bases us if you care.
any home based biz requires effort and persistence just like any biz. |

I do!! I am a Unit Director for BeautiControl and I LOVE my business! I do 2 in-home Spa Escape parties per week, spending 2 hours per spa pampering my guests with relaxing spa treatments that rival that of a day spa. I teach them how to recreate the experience in the privacy of their own homes for pennies on the dollar. What could be more rewarding than that? :~) I have also grown an amazing team of women and now have a HUGE passion for leading them and helping each of them accomplish their goals.
We have an unrivaled commission structure that is actually achievable. I earn 36% on my team's production, plus several bonuses every month. I've also earned all-expenses paid, roll out the red carpet trips, jewelry, other various gifts and I will be earning my customized 2008 racy, red convertible Ford Mustang on January 1st. This is not a lease. You actually get the pink slip! And I've been doing this for less than 2 years. As a director, I work less than 20 hours per week and earn double what I did at my corporate job.
I don't say all this to brag, but just to show you that a stay-at-home mom of 3 kids under 6 can really have it all...a rewarding career, great earnings, hundreds of new girlfriends, gifts, trips, jewelry, recognition AND balance family, friends and most importantly, self. You can have it too!
If you're interested, please check out my website: www.beautipage.com/kcramer and click on "become a spa expert." Then on the left hand side, click on the icon "Are you living a life you love?" Feel free to contact me!
Have a SPA-tacular day!! |

I have a very successful business with Noah's Ark Animal Workshop. I conduct traveling "stuff and fluff" workshops at birthday parties, daycares, schools, corporate events, etc. At a workshop, children bring their own stuffed animal to life by handfilling with love and stuffing!!
Best of all, you can make your entire investment back with only one sale!
If you would like to know more, email me at

Good Luck!~ |

My name is Rosie. 10 mos. ago I joined a network marketing company that sells real estate investment education packages (no home parties or inventory to keep up with). I now earn in residual income MORE than what I was earning as a part-time (20-25 hours a week) legal secretary AND I am home with my children now FULL TIME. The Real Estate education also allows my husband and I to learn how to invest our monies in real estate and it comes with mentorship from the company. We also have a network of people (appraisers, lenders, etc.) that work together. It's really a cool thing!
Write if you would like to know more.
