Yeah we still get one or two, there can't be much money in it now because they have to sell drugs and fags too |

Nah, not in ages...use to always come though, and we'd wait on the green for ice creams..
One of the dudes was weird and did a daffy duck impression, we think he put drugs in the sprinkles..and it'd explain a headache I got once.
He hasn't been in like 2 years, when I was like 13 or 14..not sure.
I love ice creams, but the vans are spooky! |

Not real often -- I keep hearing about the ice cream van getting robbed, so I think it's not real safe in a lot of areas. They usually knock off around sunset. |

Yes , we have a regular ice cream seller, summer and winter. He always seems to get customers. I think in summer he finishes about 7.30/8pm. I think he is finished as soon as it's dark in winter and would sell more at weekends. |

They certainly do.
I have had double glazing fitted but the kids can still hear them, another waste of money.
I have told them he rings the chimes to let people know he has run out of ice cream !!! |

Yes - we had one out around a fortnight before Christmas.
Because of the ranges they tend to travel over though you only get them at a certain time - any later and you do have to go to the shop! |

Why I've no idea, but there still are a few that go around the secondary schools at lunch time and even after school. I can't say I'd want an ice cream myself at the moment. Especially outdoors. |

Yes, twice a week in the early evening, a bit more often now as it is summer here in Australia.
They also hang around the seaside. |

In summer, ALWAYS. I know someone who has an ice-cream van. He drives it around all through summer and earns an absolute bomb. Maybe I'm in the wrong job. |
|

Yes, but they only sell hamburgers...does that make sense? |
