Do u think getting paid $6.50 an hour is fair?
i just started working and i get paid $6.50.... is that fair enough..

$6.50 is a good start considering this is your first job. In 90 days you might get a pay raise ,if they do 90-day probationary period. Ask your employer what is do they have a probationary period and if you succeed it are you qualified for a raise.

More then minimum wage... Gotta start some where...

It depends how old you are and what kind of responsibilities you have...
If you're between 16-19 and don't do a whole lot then sure, that's fair.
But if you're a bit older and/or you work your tail off, then no, i think that pay is pretty low.

It's a good starting point. Once you have experience, which you will eventually get there, you can command more $$ at that job or others like it.

Well, you have to evaluate your performance, and how much value you put in to the job. Then you can determine the value of the job you are doing. Once you have done it, calculate the money that would require to train you in the job. Then you can calculate the Difference according to the following formulae.
Difference = (Value of the job) - (Cost of training you) - (amount paid to you)

If the Difference is negative, you owe them, or you are over paid. If it is positive, they stole money from you (or you are underpaid).

Which is fair?

Yeah, more than minimum. Sucks but you gotta start somewhere.

day cares don't pay very well as it is, with no experience i'd say it's not bad, i don't know what minimum wage is anymore but....

I think it's fair. Considering it's your first job, and what your doing. Consider yourself lucky =]
