I teach currently and have a home biz with The Body Shop At Home. I love it and make great extra money. I would love to tell you more and give you my web site, but you will need to e-mail me for that.

I can tell you that we are newer...only been around since 2002 and I work in direct sales. The company also lets consultants come into the stores to drum up business about once every 2-3 months. The comission is great and I love the products and all the free and discounted stuff the company gives me.

So far this month I have done two parties for a total of 3.5 hours and have made $420 (I have 1400 in commissionable sales and then I get 30%) that breaks down to about $120 an hour...I can't do that teaching :0).

I have tried different internet things and LOST money so I would definitely be weary of those. I do better with people though too.

Try stained glass.

We do it on the side and find that we make on average $30,000-$70,000 a year just by doing it part-time. You can either do the commission work (which we do) or make a ton of small window catchers (not real lucrative).

Do a little research for your area and find out how the market is for stained glass. The market will help you set the prices you charge for your work. As you progress and get better you can be more choosy about your projects and how much you charge.

Check out another stained glass studio to see how they work (but don't tell them you are potential competition) or get some books or videos to learn. Try Delphi Stained Glass, Warner-Crivellaro, Somers Tiffany or Charles Lamb Studios. They are the big studio houses and offer classes and/or videos.

We encourage others to try stained glass as there are not near enough of us in the business and there are many beautiful windows that need restoration.
