You have a good idea there. Starting up a home based business from home. You have plenty of options to look at. Most home based business cost under $500 to start. Same income opportunity as traditional businesses, but without all the overhead expenses, rent/lease etc. Most everything you use on a daily bases in your home, become tax write off's.
My husband and I started our home based business over six years ago. We both wanted to work out of our home and be together raising our children. We didn't want to send them off to a daycare center. Don't get me wrong, I'm not putting down daycare providers. They work hard. But I just didn't want the traditional family lifestyle of one or both parents having to work out of the home and really not be a part of our children's life. I didn't want that lifestyle. I wanted to be with my kids. The company we chose made the most since to us. A product that is and always will be in high demand. There are a lot of products and services out there that are good. We decided to partner up with this company because it was things that people will always use and pay for anyway, pretty much no matter what. We didn't have to worry if money became tight that they could easily run to the store and purchase on sale or be able to buy it at the dollar store. Every non profit organization is out there trying to find donors through large corporations. We could make the monthly income to well support our non profit organization based on what we knew and how much we made from our business. There's lots of on-line businesses that can be run in the comfort of your home using just your computer and telephone so what you want to ask yourself is what you'd like to get involved with that's in the front of the market trend, not near the end.
Because I don't like direct sales, home demo parties, soliciting or wasting my time and gas driving around I've chosen to start a company where I teach and train people how to set up and operate home based businesses. If that interests you then check out my profile.
If you're looking for something different than what I do then be careful to avoid the "get rich quick" schemes, the ones that want huge money up front or have large start up costs.
Check out what kind of training and support they have, what you'd have to do and if that fits your demands.....if the hours will work for you, how the pay system works, everything. Commit to nothing until you know everything about them.
If the company you're looking into seems valid then go for it! You will get out of it what you put into it if it has a strong structure and support system for you.

You might also want to try sites like elance or guru. You can bid on short term and long term projects and some employers might hire you as a regular employee or independent contractor. Good luck. |

In order to assess if they are legit: check with the Better Business Bureau to see what their reputation is like, check to see how long the business has been around, and make sure there is a product involved (if not, it’s likely a pyramid scheme). Be wary of those that ask for money upfront!
Of the companies that appear to be legitimate, look to see what kind of training and ongoing support they'll offer you, as that can be a crucial point to your success.
Once you're satisfied that everything is above board - go for it! Remember though, businesses do take time to build, so be patient with yourself.

You really have to be careful there tons of work at home jobs and a lot of them require monthly subscription fees, never pay you or are scams.
I don't know what your interest are so I 'll give you some places to go that are reputable and will pay you without question.
1-http://www.electrifiedincome.com/splash-IT will take you 60 days to receive your first payment but they do pay. This business is in New Zealand and they pay you between $2.00 and $5.00 for each person you referr. They do want you to join Ipower(a webhosting site) but they give you $75.00 back the amount of hosting for one year.
2-Go to http://www.clickbank.com-Join for free, search their bank of affiliate programs (all free) and choose one to promote. I try to choose those with high commissions so that I get a higher return on my work.
