Do you need to go to college in order to be a receptionist?
Not usually, but a few science companies that I knew require it. The receptionist has to be able to speak with some intelligence, so they require the degree. I know one in San Jose earning 100k a year as a receptionist, she is very happy with her job!

no - business classes would definitely help though

No, but learn Word and have your wits about you and you're better than ours.

no. That is pretty much an entry-level job.

Lets put it this way....if you don't go to college you will be a receptionist forever...

You need to have at least a high school education, have excellent communication skills, manage telephone lines, be able to take messages... I could go on but you get the picture.
Your main job will be to greet people as well as take incoming calls.
Mmmkay?
Not usually. Some larger companies require education though.

That's the reason you are going to work as a Receptionist, because you did no want to go to college
