Does Permanent Marker come off of a laminated buisness card?
I am making laminated buisness cards. the people that i am giving the cards to need to write stuff on their specific card. Will permanent marker or anything else work??? I do need it to stay for a very long time. i.e. 5 years
Permanent marker isn't as permanent as you would think when it comes to plastic.
What would work is using clear plastic mailing labels, running them through a word processing program with the information and attaching one to the back of the card.
Since they are clear it will not detract form the professionalism of the card.

You can remove permanent marker from a dry-erase board by using a dry-erase marker. Simply write over the permanent marking with the dry-erase and wipe off. It's that easy!!
I have never tried it on a laminated business card, but it's worth a try. Good luck!

For absolute security you need to laminate the cards AFTER they have had the person-specific data added. There is NO alternative.

Yes a permanent marker will stay on a laminated business card as long as the laminate stays put for 5 years so should the permanent marker ink (unless someone physically tries to remove it that is).

no that's why it's permanent. It may fade after a while but than it can just be touched up with permanent marker.
Why not write what needs to be on them then laminate them? then they wont ever fade!
