I certainly do. Over six years ago my husband and I started our own home based business in the telecommunication industry. It well supports our family of six. We also took part of that money and started a non profit organization called SOFTIN helping the handicap, mentally impaired, challenged, elderly and youth and created different programs. So yes, a home based business is a good business to get involved in and less expensive to start then a traditional business. Most home based business's cost under $500 depending on what your doing.
I'm not sure what interests you have, so I'll let you know what we do, and give you a few other places to look for other ideas. The key thing to chosing a home based business, is chosing one that is right for you. You don't want to get involved in an industry that you don't like. Then you will fail in your business because your heart is not in it.
We partnered up with a 15 year old world wide company that offers services that people use every day and pay for anyway. Services like Local and Long distance telephone services, Internet, video phones, digital phone services, VOIP, Satallite and all the major cellular phone companies like Verizon, AT&T. T-mobile, Sprint, Alltell, Nextell etc have partnered up too. How many people do you know, or know of that use any or most of these types of services? You save them money on the services that they are already using and every month they pay their bills you make a percentage off of it. It's an incredible amount of income you can bring in with this industry. Especially when not one single person in this country, as well as other countries that doesn't use at least one of these services. The income is just incredible and pretty simple to do from home.

Yes, I work out of my house, I am an Electrical Engineer that provides consulting services, product design, circuit board layout and assembly. I have two employees. All from my house.
But I don't think that is what you are looking for. What you are really asking is there anyone willing to pay you for un-skilled work. I doubt it. |

not everything is a scam online, you just need to filter through. Check into affiliate marketing and if you have questions I can point you in the right direction. I do make my income from home and I get paid by eBay :) as an affiliate marketer. The business cost me to start around 150 and around 50 to maintain per month. It requires a lot of work, but you can get free training and start earning a little money in about 30 days or less. Again, feel free to ask... |

The ones that aren't scams actually require work on your part - and if you're in need of money soon then you're likely to be sorely disappointed in any of those as well. Most of the legit opportunities out there take time to build - so if someone makes an outrageous claim of income it probably isn't true ( and those that are true sure didn't make that kind of money when they first began ).

I have other ideas that may help - one of them is an online opportunity but another is one that will require a little effort to market yourself - try some data entry for local businesses, many of them don't have the time to do it in-house and will gladly pay someone else to do it. Professionals are a good place to start, lawyers, doctors, chiropractors, etc - they need their "in-house" folks doing other things rather than busy work.
