every temp agency i have ever used does not charge... they charge the company looking for hte worker, not hte worker |

Well, that all depends. If you're looking for a job, then there is no cost to you. If you are looking for employees, then yes. Every agency charges different rates and offers different benefits. |

They shouldn't charge you anything. However, they do take out money from whatever you make. For example, I did this when I was a college student. I worked for Kelly Services. They gave me $6.50, but in reality my hourly rate was $9.80. |

To use a Temp Agency for a job costs the worker nothing. They charge the company using the temp workers more than they pay you. They use this extra money to keep their business running and to pay you any benefits that they provide such as vaction days. |

NEVER PAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! unless you are highly degreed. There are many temp agencies that are free and if not then use your brain and use the internet! No need for a temp agency.

I went through a temp agency and didn't pay a penny. They get you a job with your hourly wage and then charge the company that hired you money on top of your pay, that's how they make money. Maybe it's different where you live. |

If your looking to hire, way more than the average Joe is willing to work for. The temp agency adds anywhere from 3-5 dollars more per hour, which is what they will be making off of the person per hour whom you receive. It is more expensive, but more convenient for most. |
