The best business will depend on what you want, how you define to be interesting. A person may consider a pet sitting business to be the most exciting work in the world, while you would rather watch TV than take care of dogs. Or someone may say that earning via Google Adsense is the best business nowadays, but if you do not know how to create a website and get traffic, then it may not be for you.

The key is to determine what your interests are, what you want to do, what is suitable for your lifestyle and your overall goals, and what can fit with your resources.

Dan Ramsey in his book "101 Best Home Businesses" has a chapter on how to find YOUR best home business. He suggests these 10 steps:

It depends on what youre interested in. For exampple, someone who loves animals might start a grooming service, soemone who loves art might open their own art gallery. Follow your passion.

Take a service or product that a business already offers and create a way to customize it. People love customization that is why they are willing to pay $1.50 for ring tones when they could buy the whole song for $0.99.

Try this a friend of mine does this...

Contact local Restaurants and tell them that you will fax there weekly menus to all the local factories for XX.XX amount weekly.

The reasons they would want to do this is cheep advertising. This will go to directly to the people that will be interested in their specials monday thru friday. so this would be no wasted advertising dollars.

All you need is a fax and a telephone. You have to call all the factories before you send a fax to get their correct fax number and to get permission to fax the menus to them due to the spamming laws.
