Ebay sounds better than someone who wants you to join something he doesn't even know about. And unless you have a lot of time on your hands to waste, I would not bother with surveys. Been there, done that, didn't make a dime, but am sure I made plenty for the survey site collecting the data for the advertiser who was paying them for the research.
I heard a statistic recently that 150,000 people a week sign up for some money making thing online. Think about it... that is a huge number. I also read a statistic recently that scams outrank legit offers 42-1. I think that figure is a bit low since while I am writing this response, there are probably 1000 people out there creating yet another scam website to 'get rich quick' with.
You say you want to make good money and then you also say you want to make a bit of extra money. There are two ways to go. Either you can start a home based business, which don't think money will just start pouring in, or if you are in the US, you might want to look at being a 'virtual rep' for a company.
I have written many blogs in the last few months in an attempt to educate people on scams vs real opportunities and invite you to read a few of them. There is a link to my primary one in the 2nd paragraph of my profile here on answers.
Once you are on that page, under my pic, you should find a link that says something like more hubs from learntosucceed. One of those covers JOBS and has two links to legit sites.
It is technically against the terms of service here on answers to put links in responses, but all the information you need can be found on my hubs and NONE of them are a commercial for any money making business opp or affiliate program...
Hopefully you will find something that is a good fit for you.
If I can help further, feel free to contact me.

Ebays brutal. Do what other people are saying and start your own online store.
You do it through drop shipping, selling products directly from manufacturers at wholesale price. The best thing is it's free.
There are other places to learn more but YourOwnOnlineStorefront.com 's as good a place as any. |

this will cost nothing but a little of your time...
1. get a free website, such as microsoft office live. read here for details http://www.newbiztips.net/webhosting.aspx
2. write about something you know, ie. work or hobby - make your website full of useful content so people stay and read it!
3. add some adds! relevant to the topic your website is about of course. try an affiliate scheme such as http://www.affiliatefuture.co.uk/registration/affiliates.asp?AffiliateID=105883
4. follow these 10 low cost ways to promote your website http://www.newbiztips.net/marketingideas.aspx

You could get an online job. But just beware that you should never pay anyone upfront in order to signup with them or work for them. See: http://www.WeWorkAtHomeOnline.com
Alternatively, you might want to consider setting up your own online business in your passion area. See: http://www.income-internet-business.com
For both way, it will allow you to earn some incomes at home. |

Get yourself a website or blog or whatever .. something that really interests you or is your hobby.
Keep it up to date, with lots of good original content (content is king!)
Sign up for one of the PPC (pay-per-click) providers - someone like Google Adsense, Adbrite etc. and get some adverts on your site.
Promote your site in forum signatures, directories, and wherever else you can (without spamming people!) and see what happens.
Don't expect miracles overnight, but you can make a very healthy amount of money -- and if you have more than one website / subject it's even better!
Good luck! |

online surveys. a lot pay out quite good money.
Ok, it might not be loads, but the more online sites you build up, themore surveys they ask you, the more money you get.
Some also send out free products for you to try / test out, and then you get paid for doing it!!! |
