Does anyone know about a work at home job, that is real not a scam?

Im prego and i work night shift but it is killing me and the doctors want to put me on bed rest, but i need money. I have been trying to find something i can do from home, with out giving them oney and getting scammed.

Your not going to find a home based "job" that is going to offer enough money to support yourself and your new baby. Home based jobs start you out at minimum wage. I know how you feel right now. I've been in your position when I was put on bed rest in my 4th month until two weeks before I delivered. It is very hard. If you really want to work from home and continue to work from home and raise your children, I suggest you start your own home based business.
Most home based business cost under $500. Some cost more depending on what it is you want to do. I don't know what you like to do, what experience you have or anything like that. If you want to get involved with a business that will train you as you earn sort of thing from home, or just dive into something on your own. So I can only tell you what my husband and I started over six years ago when I was on bed rest. It well supports our family as well as a major funding source for our non-profit organization that we started up a while back with part of the income we earned. As well as it's a funding source for other non-profit organizations.
Anyhow, we got involved in the telecommunications industry.
With a world wide company that's over 15 years old. We've been featured in several magazines like USA Today, Success, Fortune etc. Inc 500 rated us the 22nd fastest growing company. They offer services that people use every day and pay for anyway, but now they can have a lower cost. Services such as local and long distance phones, Internet, digital phones, video phones (you can see the person your taking to live)VOIP, Satallite tv, and all the major cellular phone companies like Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Alltell, Nextell etc. have partnered up with them too.
How many people do you know, or know of, that uses or has one or more of these services? How would you feel if you could save people money on services that they're most likely already using, if not you can offer them the service, and everytime they pay their bills each month, you make a percentage off these bills every single month. Huge income opportunity. It's incredible how much money is involved in this industry.

Ok to start getting educated about work at home jobs you need to visit http://www.wahm.com message boards and read, read, read. There is tons of information there that will help you avoid scams. Next, go to http://www.workathomedesk.com which is a free site that has a directory of legitimate companies that hire home workers. Depending on your skills and experience, you should find some good leads there.

One thing to keep in mind, is that finding and applying for these jobs can take time. Many times you will never hear back from jobs you applied for. This is typically because the competition for these positions is high and employers often get an overwhelming response. Create a good resume that you can taylor for each job you apply for.

I've worked several at home jobs with legitimate companies - they DO exist contraty to what some may say.

If you're looking for a work from home JOB (not a home based business), there are lots of companies who hire for call center type positions. And don't listen to the nay-sayers who say work from home and telecommuting jobs are all scams or that there aren't real jobs. There are. You just have to know where to look and how to avoid the scams.

Do NOT pay for a list of jobs or pay to get a job. There are a few of the legitimate companies that, after you have qualified for the job, ask you to pay for a background check if you will be handling sensitive information like credit cards. It's usually $20-$30 and from legitimate companies is a legit fee to pay. Other than that, there is no reason or need to pay anything if you just want a job. Some of the call center jobs, you are an independent contractor (IC) and some you are an employee.

If you want to start a home based business, there will be fees involved and business expenses. There are many legit business opportunities out there in direct sales, multi-level and network marketing. There are great companies to work with, but having a business isn't for everyone.

The ones that aren't scams actually require work on your part - and if you're in need of money soon then you're likely to be sorely disappointed in any of those as well. I have other ideas that may help - one of them is an online opportunity but another is one that will require a little effort to market yourself - try some data entry for local businesses, many of them don't have the time to do it in-house and will gladly pay someone else to do it. Professionals are a good place to start, lawyers, doctors, chiropractors, etc - they need their "in-house" folks doing other things rather than busy work.

The one thing that I ended up figuring out is that there are no true work from home "jobs." In a work from home job you usually start out working for a company and then for whatever reason, sometimes, the company will let you take your job home; thus work from home job.

You could setup a blog or website, this is completely free. Once you have added some good content, you can start to earn money from advertising. I know you wont make a huge income from this, but it would get you started working from home.

Pick a topic which you are very interested in, and write a piece on that everyday.
