I just want to MAKE money from home without spending ANYTHING AT ALL. Right now, I have two pennies in my pocket, a negative balance in my bank account and all of my credit cards from paying to become a part of work from home programs that require you to spend more and more money before you make anything. Now, being completely without income and with TWO pennies in my pocket, I have 10 days to come up with at least $500 before I'm tossed on my behind! Any non judgemental suggestions welcome (i'm not a shopper, I'm an investor, and apparently, I don't know what I'm doing). |

Well, I don't know if 10 days is sufficient amount of time to bring anything, even if you were to go out and get yourself a traditional job. If you need $500 quick, try having a yard sale this weekend. At least you'll make a couple hundred dollars or more. That's the quickest way to make money from home.
Your next best bet without having to invest money into a business would be either surveys or a home based job. Surveys you won't make a lot of money. You won't have $500 cash in hand, but you may be able to buy some milk or something like that. Home based jobs only pay minimum wage. So calculate the hours you would need to put into it, then the payroll time period into consideration as well. Either way, $500 in ten days, your best bet would be to have a yard sale, sale everything you can deal without. You have time to put an add in the paper in the morning for Saturday and Sunday, then spend tomorrow "cleaning house" make signs and put them on every street corner in your neighborhood.
Once you get on your feet, I suggest not a home program, but look into home based businesses. There's a difference. Build a business on the side.
There is a couple ways that you can legitimately work from home.
Now 10 days isn't gonna cut a payroll period, but here's an article that you can read on home based jobs, home based businesses etc which there are some companies that you can look at and apply for the position. These are the only ways that I know you can make money legitimately at home.

NEVER forget that if it sounds too good to be true... IT IS!!! Everyone will promise you that you can make money from home without any investment... But if that were true, how are they making their money... And why isn't EVERYONE doing this??? Because it isn't possible. I have tried out the "paid survey" sites to see if they were legit... All but one never sent a dime for the time I spent. One site paid me 100 dollars over about 6 months and then they stopped paying as well. Even that site required that I sign up for a service, pay the fees, cancel and apply for a refund, then after a certain time, I would be paid.
In the amount of time you invest trying this, you could have made 1000's at a part time job.
My honest suggestion. Get involved in a CHRISTIAN church. Talk to your pastor about your problem and see if you can do any work around the church to make some money to get back on your feet... For that matter walk around your neighboorhood with a lawn mower and tell everyone you will cut their grass for 20 bucks. 25 yards in 10 days would be EASY and who wouldn't pay 20 bucks to not have to cut their grass in the heat right now.
If you have gotten yourself into a bit of financial trouble, you are going to have to do a little hard work to get out quickly. Don't worry, everyone has gotten behind. You can get out. But you have to REALLY want to! I am a banker. I know how easy money can slip away if you aren't careful.

Good Post! I love everything about business, escpecially the marketing and advertising parts. These things make or break a business. I've found many ways to advertise my business that might help you. If you have a website, try SEO and PPC (pay per click from Google Adwords).
If you advertise your business offline, try handing out flyers, printing coupons, and yellowpage advertising).
The best method I've found yet is to buy business cards and hand them out everwhere. I buy them from a place online that gives the cards for free and only charges for shipping and handling. I hand these out to everyone I meet, and I leave them on cars where ever I go (I also got a free business card holder that looks really impressive)!

I feel for you situation I really do, but when things sound to good to be true, they really are.
If there was a way to make money how you want to...they'd pretty much be no unemployment.

There are companies that hire people to work at home as employees or as independent contractors, for example, doing customer service.
Also Writing is a great way to bring in some extra cash, you don't have to be an experienced writer. Even if you have never written before, you can still sign up for eHow, it is a website that pays you money, for posting how-to articles.
