i left my wife bidding on a van while i was at work,when i checked she had bought the wrong one,i sent an e mail to the seller telling him to sell to next bidder, i have now got a negative against me,does anyone know how to resolve this.i dont need telling not to let my wife bid for me in future. |

If there were other bidders it is not such a big problem because the seller can at least get a sale.
Ebay can tie you down to their terms and conditions, however a nice polite email to the seller and another to Ebay may well resolve the issue. |

Nothing you can do.
You have put your seller through unnecessary hassle as a lot of people do not accept 2nd chance offers and there is also the cost of his advertising and time. |

Your best bet is to email the seller and ask them to mutually withdraw the comment, at least that way the rating wil be deleted. |

You can reply to it, if you have left feedback for the seller
you can ask if he will mutually withdraw, the rating will be
removed but the comment will stay.
From next month sellers will no longer be able to neg buyers,
but buyers will be able to neg sellers. |

dont worry too much about it, send ebay an email telling them whats happened they are pretty good with genuine people. if he had other bidders he can still sell his van , he wont be charged to relist it that way because its not being relisted is it !!! and next time, put item in your watched item list so wife knows which one!!!! or do it urself |

You are lucky that the seller didn't chase you for the money you owe him for the van. |

there is nothing you can do about it if you bid on something
and you win you by right should pay for it
you should not have got someone else to bid on it for you
thats the rules
there are a lot of people who bid on things then change there mind after winning , leaving the seller frustrated
it has happened a lot to afriend of mine
plus the seller has to pay a fee to ebay for the sale each time as well as the listing of it
thats why a lot of Australians have left ebay and have now joined oztion because of new rules of ebay |
