I am trying to run a business now- however starting from scratch has been EXTREMELY difficult- I have spent $$$ in advertising,marketing,promotional aides,signage etc.etc. the specific business that I am in... Just has a SIGNIFICANT OVERHEAD and unless you have SEVERAL THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS TO SPEND TO INVENTORY THE STORE--- it's EXTREMELY DIFFICULT BREAKING ENTRY INTO THE MARKET---- I m looking for a way to supplement my income- since at the time both myself and my husband are currently working towards this business!!! I have also began trying to sell every possible thing I own and don't need or use on e-bay as well as drop-ship and merchandise that I have access to thru my wholesalers- still it's NOT ben enough to support ourselves & the business......too. That is why a lot of people turn to direct sales. It often helps to supplement income while developing something else. I am in two companies tha I find to be legit and have enormous potential without high overhead.
When you have legitimate products that have been researched, tested, and approved, people seem more at ease. I sent out an email with my newest venture and sold $500 worth of clothing in 10 days, which got me $100 in commissions. Very cool to me.
