I have never tried the sites because I operate 2 businesses in addition to working a traditional job (but thank God I will leave my job at the end of the month), but I have two friends who are successfully working from home with companies suggested through this Good Morning America effort.

My husband and I are working one now that is no risk and with which you carry no inventory. It is a company that produces natural household and health products. It is just $1.00 to start until June 15, 2007. We get paid once per month.

It is easy to distinguish the scams: If you need to pay them first before they pay you it is a scam.
A few ideas come to mind:
- Secretarial services.
- Reselling stuff on ebay.
- Translation services.
- Tech support via phone. |

If you are looking for something real you may want to check into Tupperware. Everyone knows that it is a reliable company and has an awesome reputation. They also have a fundraising program, so if your wife has contacts through your boys school or activities she may want to introduce the fundraiser.

There is a lot she can do at home as a stay at home mom. I would suggest before starting or choosing anything she should acquire some knowledge. It won't take much time, may be a day or two would be enough. Internet is full of scams and cheaters. The best policy is to create your own identity and own presence so that people start getting to know you.
You will be surprised that 90% of people doing business are actually on loss, while 5% people are not in loss but they are not earning profits either. Remaining 5% actually are earning a good residual income.
If you will study and do a little research you will found that people who have their own identity, are constantly in touch with people are making money. Luckily technology today have made things easy and most of the things are automated.
First do a comparison of a real world business and internet business. See the advantages and disadvantages, make a decision weather you want to start a real world business or internet business. There is a site i know who are trying to educate people. if you are interested let me know.
Be careful, don't start the way what majority is doing. Start slow and carefully. |

There are many legitimate home based businesses out there. I am feeling you on the scams, though. The thing you need to remember is that it needs to be treated as a "business" and not a hobby. The right support is something you've got to take into account, and a person has to be willing to learn in the process of expanding their business. It takes some work, but it can pay off. |

I can totally relate to that. Been there, done that. There aren't a lot of reputable Companies out there. She has do decide if she wants to sell anything. The majority of MLM's out there require the whole selling, inventory, orders, deliveries, etc. So many other things are just a waste of time and money.
