There's an article that you can read that was written by a work at home mom. It has a lot of information on work at home jobs. It has a few places that if you feel you qualify for, then go ahead and apply for the position.

If they want start up money before you decide and try it then it is a scam. And so far i've found Zero Nada on the web.I have a friend who spent years trying to make money on the web from multi mkg to transcriber and all he did was spend money and he was a former IBM district mgr.So i would say NO to your question.... |

I am a single mom and had to find something I can do on my own time and I wasted tons of hours and even some money trying to find online jobs. I found most to be scams, unfortunaley :-(
I talked to a Dog Breeder who signed me up to buy Natrual Dog Food for my Labrador and I loved it and than decided to sell Natrual Pet Food myself. Kind of like Mary Kay but not as stressful.
It is not an easy quick money scam. It requires work, but you can do it on your own hours and actually make a decent income.
I distribute business cards, flyers, talk to Pet Rescues, Breeders, Trainers and Vets etc.
Also do some online marketing.
This is the only thing that really worked for me.

Also if you like Make up or Food there are companies out there you can do the same kinda business, which is all Network Marketing. As long you actually work on it you can make a full income.

You should have a read of the articles on this website, it will help you with the searching and also how to avoid scams but you're unlikely to get the names of any genuine companies in the replies here as there is no shortage of people looking to do work at home and data entry jobs. |

Learn or brush up on some skills you have and head to freelance sites like Elance.com, even eBay.com and start selling your services. At Elance, bid on projects. On eBay, post a $9.95 Classified ad (goods for 30 days) and advertise what you do.
See the idea? You don't need to get into technical issues of starting and running a huge biz. It's like mowing yards.

There are a few legitimate data entry companies but are not hiring and have large waiting lists (1-2yrs). The majority of data entry jobs you seen online are scams. A real company will want you to have skills inc fast typing, may want you to know MS Excel, and will usually ask that you have high speed internet. Once in a long while you may found one online on a job website but thats rare.
If you do an advanced search on yahoo, you will find previous answers, sometimes the info on these is good as the info they gave is likely to have been verified if the answer was voted as 'Best'. |
