when you buy online you have to wait for your item to arrive home. Thats time, then you are not very sure if the color and fabric displayed on screen are going to look exactly the same. That's uncertainty, and finally how on earth you'd be able to know if the manufacturers has unique sizes. That's uncertainty, again. |

I do most of my lingerie shopping online, and I know all the lingerie gifts that I get are from online stores, because they usually have them shipped to me direct. I guess it's a not so subtle hint that someone wants a private fashion show.
Good online sites will tell you about size differences and will exchange items with no problem. I have also found shipping to be really fast, unless they are from West coast. I an on the East coast and usually get items in 2 or 3 days from ordering.
I work a full time job and can order from work or at home, saving a trip to a mall. I think its the same for a guy, plus the saving embarrassment of having to go to a lingerie department. |

No one will see you buying it online. You won't accidentally run into someone you do not think about in lingerie if you are online. |

Sometimes women are self conscious about there lingerie and don't want people to think that they where that type of stuff to bed. It should not matter, what you do in the bedroom is your own business, but some people still have that 1950's frame of mind so to them it is embarrasing. |

all of your statements are true but it is less embarrassing for men to shop on line for frilly things for their significant other. possibly this holds true for women also. have to get an answer from them. |

Several reasons.
1. I can not find a 36 DDD bra at walmart.
2. I live in an area that I would have to drive for more than an hour to find a lingerie shop.
