The most success I've had selling on ebay is selling old lighters.
Ronsons, Zippos etc. The best ones have advertisments or are military. Buy them at 2nd hand stores or garage sales. I usually pay about $1 each and they sell for anywhere from 5$ to 60$. |

My daughter does it as a hobby, she will buy things at garage sales and then sell them on e-bay for 2-3 times what she paid. |

I use to buy and re sale concert tickets. I made some good money . My biggest problem my credit card was tied up all the time. When i first started selling i just went through my garage and got rid of a lot of junk. |

I used to sell the stuff I sew, while I was waiting for my website to take off. I think Ebay really helped the website take off, and now I never have time to use them for that anymore. It was awesome as a test market. If it sold well on Ebay, I knew I should make a big pile of it and put it on the website. I still use it for cleaning out closets and I help my family with their yard sale finds. I got my cousin $80.00 for a cookie jar and $20.00 for a writing pen. |

I have a store, I think E-bay is a good idea if you have a good product, I have not sale more than a few items but I do not blame it on e-bay, I think my merchandise just does not sale.
If you have something to sale, give it a try, otherwise you will never know if it was for you or not.

I have been selling things I find on clearance in stores. Usually stores I get an extra discount for having their credit card. I return stuff if it doesn't sell, which isn't often. I have made some money but nothing to really brag about. Also, you can find some good stuff at garage/estate sales. My mom made $40 on a rare cabbage patch doll and $24 on candlesticks. Thing is she didn't know if it was worth anything until we researched them.
My aunt has been going to salvation army when they have their tag sales. I don't think she has made much money, but I think she doesn't price items high enough. |

I used to sell tracfone minutes thru their refer a freind thing and collect the free minutes. They did pretty well i got over 3000 minutes which there is no way I would be able to afford on my own. |

i've got some things i'm getting ready to sell, but i've only sold one time... tried to sell it locally but in a small hick town in rural georgia...a souped up lowrider bicycle just did not sell here. it was my stepsons bike and he took a huge loss (bought for 300 sold for 100) but there just wasn't a big market for that anyways. but it was EASY, cheap and fast |
