Tater Tots sounds like the food-stand. I think Taylor-Raye's sounds just fine, if that is your name or some affiliation with it. (Would you want "Tater-Tots" on the back of your invitations)?
Where I live there is a place similar called "Imagine That", and "Pookie's Little Britches". Your name is fine, or think about it some more. Good luck with your boutique! |

I think that's a perfect store name for your type of boutique! I really like it! Good luck! |

Tater Tots would earn you a visit from a lawyer, the name belongs to a frozen potato product and they go after their infringements. Taylor-Rayes doesn't tell me, as a consumer, what you sell, or if you are upscale or bargain. Its just a name and for some reason it sounds medical not boutique.
If its upscale, Taylor is a good name, hyphenated with Rayes' (maybe its the hyphen?) its just not up there for a boutique although it might be nice as a name. Taylors Babes maybe? Nope, I guess I can criticize much better than come up with names. Good Luck to you though. |

I think that will depend on A. Your location, and B. Your logo's font. People could associate the Taylor part with some thing like "Ann Taylor". Why not drop the "'s" and Just call it "The Taylor-Raye Boutique"? Pay me later after you mak your first million, please.
And think about this- maybe that southern angle could be a niche angle for you. "Southern Elegance", you know? |

I wouldn't put the word "designs" after it. That makes it sound like it is a store with it's own designer....not a hodge podge of designers and brands.
Taylor-Raye is a great name. I thought it sounded citified. |

Tator Tots is a cute play on words, Taylor-Rayes has absolutely no meaning to me without you telling me what you would be selling so my vote is Tator Tots but i'm willing to bet it would be hard to use that name since it is probably already registered. |

I think it's perfect & it sounds classy, actually. Trash Tater Tots or change to Taylor Tots if you want to separately name the children's line. Good Luck!!!!!!! |
