Not many places would be willing, but I know McDonald's hires at least 14, maybe even 13... I would suggest babysitting until you're 14, which is when a lot more places are willing to hire. Look around your neighborhood and see if anyone's willing to pay you for raking leaves, walking their dogs, etc. or try for an allowance. If your parents don't want to give you an allowance, make a deal; for example, for every A- or higher on your report card, you get $50, or for every week you keep your room clean to your parents' standards, you get $10. |

.When I was 10 (1941), I started delivering newspapers and realized that two other daily newspapers also had routes in the same area that I covered with the first daily, so I took over these routes also. One thing I learned early was to put 10% into savings and investments of anything I earned. Reguardless of the economy, the 10% was always put aside. As you get to know your customers, many of which had their own businesses, they will reconize your ambitions. and this could lead to further employment. |

You're going to have trouble with your age. What about babysitting? Or do you know anyone that owns a small business, for example a salon that you could offer to clean nightly? |

Well sweetie all you can do are things like babysitting, 13 really isn't even a legal age to work. Most places (that do even hire young teens) won't hire until at least 14, and the hours are severely restricted. You probably wouldn't be able to work until 11 p.m. or as early as 5 a.m. |

In most states, you're too young, sorry. Try babysitting. |

It is really hard to get a job at 13, you can try the marketplace on stools.
But it is hard to get an offical job apart from a paper round but thats child labour.
As your parents if their bosses can take u on for small jobs.
Hope this helped =] |

You can't get a job in a supermarket or high street shop or anything but when I was 13 I started working in my local newsagents so try local shops :) |
