This is a scam! No way do they need your email. Let the buyer be the high bidder on eBay and when he receives the email from eBay, they will instruct him on the payment method. He chooses pay pal and pays. They have you information and will deposit his money into your account. Pay pal is the only way to go when receiving payments from people you don't know. Get your payment before you send your item!! |

The way PayPal works is for someone to send you money, they must know your PayPal email address. Now if the amount offered was MORE than you listed it for in "buy now", or MORE than the winning bid, it not only is probably a scam but is also against ebay TOS. |

I'm assuming, you have included the "make an offer" feature with your listing. If you accept the offer, send them an invoice and they can pay that way. I wouldn't give my email address out. If this is an auction style listing, add a buy it now price if there are no bids. If there are, they'll have to bid and wait for the auction to close. Otherwise, you could get into trouble with eBay... |

It's no scam if they use paypal. Tell them to use that. As soon as you receive the funds, transfer them into your bank account. That way it's pretty much guaranteed that you have it. Then send them the item. They shouldn't need your email address though. You're supposed to send them an invoice with a link to paypal for them to pay for it after the time limit is up on the bidding. |

Did you actually list this item? If not, dont sell thruoga ebay contact unless you list it. Check and see if he has a good rating. If you use paypal, you should get the money before you send whatever it is to him. I hope this helps |

That is how paypal works, they type in your email and send you the money, or you can give them your name and they can send it to that. |
