I LISTED 8 TEES I WAS GOING TO THROW THESE SHIRTS AWAY BECAUSE I NEVER WEAR THEM. THEY'RE NOT VINTAGE OR ANYTHING SO WHY DID IT END SO HIGH IN THE AUCTION? ARE ANY OF THESE TEES RARE? I THINK I'M MISSING SOMETHING HERE BECAUSE I'M REALLY CONFUSED WHY SOMEONE WOULD PAY SO MUCH.

Your listing was easy to read, professional looking, with great pics. Selling on eBay can be really hit and miss. I've gotten a LOT more for some things than I ever expected, and had zero bids on stuff I thought would be great sellers. Just enjoy your profit from this auction and know that probably not every thing you sell on eBay will be this successful. |

You did what every successful seller does: You used the right mix of common search words in the title that people use to look for popular items in the size and style they like. Hot Topic is a name brand for teens, Large is a popular size and the styles goth and babydoll are still going strong.
Also, your auction description was detailed and it helped that you provided a link to see a closeup of the items you were selling. That's why you also got the kind of traffic to your auction that you did.
When you're looking to buy something online, do you type L@@K or do you type in the brand name and style? Using the words "L@@K" "CUTE" or similar silly words is a waste of valuable description space and doesn't generate traffic. You did the right thing by using the right keywords in the title to generate interest. Great job! Maybe you should consider selling on ebay more often... |

I looked at your listing and it looked pretty good, you had some nice pics, not to mention school is starting back up and cloths are selling like crazy right now. you also had over 300 people to look at your listing, I myself think those shirts are cute plus you have a lot of goth stuff, which you can't find just anywhere. Point is, if people are dumb enough to buy it let them, I once sold a lamp that I bought for $5.00 for $40.00, but at the same time, I had a tapestry on there that retailed $400.00, and only got $30.00 out of it, consider this a great listing and remember if if you ever have a bad one, it will make you feel better. |

I've been selling on ebay for 2 years now...oh by the way nice screenname =o)......and for one you have 8 shirts for sell that you said was NWOT and people will bid soooo much higher for if it said that than worn once or never worn but washed once. I've sold Old Navy lil girl's shirts and one went for $5 more b/c it said NWOT than the other that was worn once but in excellent condition. Plus it went for $66 and if you figure each shirt went for $8/pc and that's good price esp. from the store it is from. Some states at that same store may sell the shirt higher than where you bought it. Plus you said in the auction you may add extra stuff...helps people bid more if they know they can get more stuff that relates to what they are bidding on. You're doing good and keep it up. Now just to give you helpful tips...there are times when it's a "bad week" to sell b/c no one will bid on stuff and other times it's a "good week". I'm moving soon and so I put up 18 items up for 1day only sale and all but 5 sold and made lots. Was really awesome!
