I created a new ebay account and im buying tickets to see Slayer. i clicked on buy 2 tickets now. i have now WON the item, i cannot pay for them until the next 12 hours, then i WILL pay. im worried incase the seller thinks im ripping them off because im not paying straight away! how long do i have before i can pay?? i dont want to get in trouble for this, im DEFINITELY going to pay within the next 24 hours but not just yet! |

You'll be fine. Sellers ordinarily won't even question you for two or three days after the auction ends, especially on a long weekend. |

First off, great taste in music! You do not have to pay immediately. Ebay gives you days, so don't worry. Most sellers are happy as long as you pay within 24 hours. |

First off I think you'll be fine. Second message the seller & let them know you'll be making the payment soon. It's just polite. Some buy it nows have where you have to make immediate payment, which you would have to pay with paypal right then and there, others don't & let you buy it now without paying that instant. Either way you'll be fine, you might score some positive feedback by letting the seller know when your going to pay. =] |

You should have checked the item description, where it probably would have said how long the seller is prepared to wait for payment. Email the seller and explain. |

Your can only run into problems in 2 ways...
1). The seller set the auction for BUY IT NOW, and that unless you paid immediately, then the auction was never considered "closed". The auction will clearly state this, and this is done when the item being sold is "perishable", IE it only has a time certain that it is actually worth something, such is the case with concert tickets, passes to an inauguration, plane tickets, etc etc etc. NOTE: if this auction IS set this way, someone else can come along and take the tickets out from under you if they pay immediately....and there is nothing you can do about it.
or
2). you abscond from paying altogether, which we all know is not the case here, as you want to take care of payment, its just it make take a day. That isnt a problem. A WEEK.. yeah.. a day.. no.
