I'm an ebay seller with over 30,000 sales to my name ..
The others who have responded have advised you well ...
If you stick to Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada, UK, Germany, Switzerland, Austria as a general rule, you'll have very little problem.
The problems arise of course when people are dishonest, but that can happen anywhere :(
Trust your gut, consider the value of what you're sending, ALWAYS post by mail which requires a signature for collection and you'll be fine.

Anywhere in AFRICA.
I have been a victim, some git stole £80 of merchandise, then claimed it was not recieved.
On investigation I found that the British Postal service delivered to the country, then left it with the local service, who claim it was collected by said person.
Paypal then refunded the scammer from my account leaving me £80 short.
Found this after and found it amusing.

and have had little or no problems In Europe ( not the old EASTERN BLOCK) Hong Hong, USA, Australia, Canada, Tasmania, New Zealand, Japan,
I avoid most of the old EASTERN BLOCK .. except Ukraine & Hungary
Definitely avoid all of Africa except SA and all of South America |

I have sold abroad 2 times and both had postal issues even though I wrote HANDLE WITH CARE IN BIG RED LETTERS
they didnt and I believe now that when some countrys handlers see this it acts like a challange to see just what damage they can do |

I would avoid all of Africa including South Africa because even if the customer is honest the postal service is awful and you can't rely on our Post Office compensation scheme any more ( through bitter experience ) |

ive been selling on ebay for 2 years now and im half malaysian so im not racist at all but anywhere to do with egypt, turkey, mexico are no go areas in my book. best thing is to deal with uk, australia, america, canada and parts of europe like france, spain, belguim, germany, switzerland, holland are ok. |

If you are getting paid through Paypal you should know you only have seller protection to items sent to the US, UK and Canada. No other countries.
There are way too many places not to ship to to list them all here. |
