Looks like you just found one way!The other way is to get a myspace page,you can put your site online on your page and have many friends,I joined 5-5-61 and have 210 friends and almost 700 people have looked at my page and I get emails asking me to look at all kinds of things,plus ebay and once you get to know someone,you like to see what they have for sale,you can also send bulletins out to your friends list,that is everyone gets the message only if they like looking at bulletins,so that is not pushy!best of luck,I have been thinking of doing some EBAY myself! |

I would personally never buy from a seller with no feedback especially for such expensive items. You should try to build up the feedback first and foremost. |

What you have to do is this.
1. Put products in your store.
2. Put products in to the general auctions, and this will cross promote your store. The more products you have in the auctions the more people will see the products in your store.
3. Advertise.
4. If you're interested in learning about intrnet marketing go to http://www.transational.com which has lots of guides. Including ebay tutorial ebooks and stuff. |

I don't think the ebay stores are very good unless you already have a business and unlimited resources. Like a pawn shop, or a store. I just wasted money. It is easier to just list your product as an auction. That is what I do and I make more money then when I had the store. |

There's a number of things you can do such as add lots of tag lines etc for links in search engines but engines like google use the page content and not just meta tags for example.
If you have the time and patience you could always write reviews of the hardware on other sites which a link to your site, link through to people like pricegrabber, just network with other tech/hardware sites and get them to link to you, put an ad in a local shops site or news paper, Craigs list, etc. There are just so many options it's hard to list them all here. |
