help!!!
ive been listing on ebay for a while now and recently listed a louic vuitton bikini, which sold, then i put on some nike trainers and it wouldnt list it and said i needed to become verified? why is this? so im half way though the process but i have a premier account because i wanted to be able to accept debit payments but to get verified with a premier account you need to give your bussiness details, i dont have a bussiness!!!!!!!! help!!!!!!!! also to become verified i had to set up payments to go from paypal for me fees but theses are already set up though my bank and it wont let me delete it, helpppppppppp!!!!!!!

The reason Ebay is asking you to get verified is that it's recently introduced a stricter security policy for people selling designer goods. The theory is that if you get verified and you then sell knock-offs, they know where to send the police to find you!
You don't need to be a business seller to sell Vuitton or Gucci - you simply need to verify your details with Ebay (not Paypal). Even verified, they may put a limit on how many designer items you can list at once until such a time as they've checked sufficient listings to satisfy themselves of their authenticity.
If your goods are genuine, then there's no issue. If they're not, Ebay may no longer be a safe channel to get rid of them |

you dont need to have a business you have to put down its for your own personal use or just phone paypal they will help you through it all trust me it works also if you put down that you are a business you will have to pay VAT so watch out, just tell paypal you are just a private seller selling own personal belongings hope this helps |

Do not set up a business..Call the helpline number they will talk you through it step by step you need to change your settings to a personal account. It happened to me and I was ripping out my hair trying to sort it out. The helpline was a great help!! Good luck!! |

set yourself up as a business its easy and doesn't cost anything.you can setup as a sole trader. you may be liable for taxes though on any profits so you will need to keep proper records.

I'm verified but I'm not sure if I have the premier acct. Getting verified means that they make 2 deposits into your checking acct and then when you get the money, you have to tell them how much they deposited. It's 2 deposits that add up to 50 cents. Mine is a premier acct and I don't have a business. You should ask them at ebay. But I remember that I was unsure if it when I did it too. It was safe though. |

Ok, don't do the Business thing, as that opens a whole can of worms that you don't want to mess with.
Contact E-bay by their contact details and explaing whats wrong, though it may help if you werew a bit clearer than your wuestion posted here.
Nike is a popular target for fake merchandise, and they do not want Fakes for sale, this is illegal. You may have legitimate products, but they want you to be patient while they do properly. |
