If you accept money orders...they will mail a check to your home. Honestly, I have been selling for awhile now and money orders are a pain in the ***! You wait and wait and wait...and hear every excuse in the world on why you have not received it. If you still want to accept them...when you set up your auction go to your payment profile and choose money order. One last thing...DO NOT accept checks, yes most people are honest but if they are not it causes more hassle than it is worth. I stick to PayPal most of the time, and if I accept a money order it must be received within 7 days or the item is re-listed...and if I don't get it I leave bad feedback!! Hope this helps :) |

if u mean accepting money orders as payment u just click on the payment methods you will accept when you are designing your ad---there's a 'payment method' section where u can click 'paypal' 'check or money order' or other...make sure the money order clears b4 u send the item out---& u can set up the customer's invoice to include a mailing address for the money order--if u mean something else then i'm not sure what ur asking... :-} |

When you accept Money Orders, I strongly suggest you put a guideline on your eBay auction that you only accept USPS Money Orders (US Postal Service), so you can go to the post office and cash the money order before you ship the item. You want to cash the Money Order at the post office where it is scanned and instantly determined if it is legitimate or counterfeit. If you sell a lot, plan to go to the post office perhaps twice a week, and ship after that. Never ship before cashing those money orders! Go with PayPal. It's worth the few percent they charge. |
