I have won an item on ebay I am NOT paying by paypal I have requested the sellers address twice they have replied that their address is not on file with e bay and I have not received their address in an email either , can anyone explain what is happening .thanks . |

if there is no address disclosed to you then you probably bid on an item sold by a seller than only accepts paypal. Sellers only accept paypal sometimes because it is much easier and faster than having to wait for a money order or check to arrive by mail and then to wait to make sure it clears. |

Scroll down the page and see how the seller wants to be paid and If it is only via Pay Pal, then send the seller an e-mail via E-Bay and explain the situation. He may offer you an alternative payment method, if not then by mutual consent both parties can cancel.
Shopping on E-Bay is much easier if you use Pay Pal.

go to the item you won.......... after you bring up the auction you won you should be able to click a button that says contact seller....... click "contact seller"... it should then send the seller an email.. I would not send the payment off until they send you an invoice. Contact customer service at ebay too |

I would not pay them any thing until you have received there address, they should be able to give you there address a tell you what other way they will except payment. |

if you register with eBay you HAVE to provide your address so the sellers address will be on file with ebay you can't register with out an address |

if you have won something then why do you think you have to pay ? perhaps i have misunderstood your question . i hope you didn't pay an entrance fee in the hope of winning something.there is so much fraud on e.bay,just ask around.
Pleas don't pay anything as my brother was asked to pay by cheque and after two weeks of waiting started inquiries and ,yes ,you have guessed it . Nothing has come and too late to cancel the cheque |

sounds to me like they want you to pay thru paypal because they have no intention of sending what you won.If you ask for the address,there is NO reason for them not to give it to you if they are on the up and up.report them to ebay. |

Do they say they take other forms of payment in the listing? Many people *only* accept Paypal so they don't get nutters turning up at their door. |
