If you clearly state that you only accept PayPal then do not accept the check payment. Cancel the sale. If you do decide to take the check make sure you give the person a postal box mailing address (rent one if you don't have one already). Never use your real home address to receive important mail unless you want every nut job on the planet knowing where you live. |

If you don't want to except the check - cancel the transaction with e-bay, with a dispute, she is not honoring the terms of sale. Send full explanation to e-bay.
Otherwise, you could accept the check and tell her she will have to wait 14 days (or something like that) before you send the merchandise, so that you can make sure the check clears. |

tell here to get a MONEY ORDER. they get if from the post office. You cant get scammed off of that. You can cash it at your local bank, or post office. Money orders are the second preffered payment method besides Paypal. Plus you can save a couple bucks, because paypal takes off a percentage fee. Money orders are not risky. I would tell her money order but no check.
Plus you dont have to ship the item out, until you actually have your money.

If you contacted e-bay to let them know I don't think you should do anything else. Don't send her the address.
But if you want to go through with the sell just tell the person that you are going to send the sun glasses once the cheque has cleared.
