My boss (small company) recently solicited funds for a baby shower gift for two other employees, each of whom has other children. Though not stated, I felt I would be disloyal somehow if I refused to contribute. Is there some law againts such implied threats? By the way, my employer pays nothing for me, in the way of benefits, i.e., health insurance, 401K, profit sharing, time off, vacations.
