I am a mother of two girls (3 and 14 months). They currently goes to BSNS. I am looking for help on some Monday's. I could pick you up after Alison's camp ends at 1pm, and then drop you off at home by 4:45 pm. I work from home and am looking to have someone upstairs playing with the girls inside while I work downstairs in my office. I will feed and change all diapers. I will always be home the whole time. Is this something you are interested in? And if so, how much would you charge?

Say Yes! I did this my junior and senior year. It's easy! Charge her 50 dollars a week or more, depending on class of the family. Good Luck in whatever you decide! |

Do you or someone you know also know this person or family? If so, I would ask my parents their thoughts and permission, and then jump on it. Don't overcharge or you might not get the job. Charge what you would in any other babysitting job. |

It sounds like a legitimate babysitter job offer. If you want the job the by all means call the lady and also let your parents know your intentions. |

Well, if you are interested, I would call her and tell her that you are, but don't sell yourself short. Charge a decent amount. If you're not interested, call her and tell her you can't do it because of work. ("tomorrow." BTW) (Honestly, I'm not sure what you are asking.) |

Its probably a very good offer. You earn some money by doing some babysitting and the poor woman can also earn her living. |

I'd say go for it. Being 15, you wont get too many offers like this. It will be easy and fun. I would tell her that you will charge $6 an hour. I think that's very fair. Have fun with it! |

I used to do the same thing. I paid the girl the normal hourly rate for babysitting. Sometimes you need help with the kids when you are home. I would try it for a few days, if something creeps you out leave. You may want to have a parent drive you. I did pick up the girl who babysat for me, but I knew her and her family from church. I never like riding with strangers, and I sure as hell won't let my kids get in a car with someone I don't know. |
