Direct sales is the way to go ... great commissions, little investment. I personally think party plan is the most lucrative, as you meet many prospective clients that the host has brought together for you.
There are many good companies out there - look for one that is established, in a period of quick growth, but not yet saturated. A profitable company offers the best incentives.
I have sold clothing, spa products and currently jewelry through Latasia. my answer is going to be quick and to the point.
If where u live is in the hot climate, start a Hawaiian shaved ice mobile station. (snow cone). MY uncle started one down here in the desert with less than $2000 and its a very profitable business. He sets up shop at local football games, at parades, at charity events, and so forth and so on. The possibilities are endless. |

Depending on what your experienced at or what do you like to do. I have found for myself that it is all in :
1. What you like to do and what you want to achieve.
2. How you market yourself
3. Training that is provided for you
4. Goals
There are many business opportunities out there for you, as well as jobs. What you have to ask yourself, is if you start a home based business are you prepared to work it ,and give it time to become successful. There are no quick get rich overnight business, I know for a fact. But many of the home-based business are making money, good money. It just depends on what you like, what you want to achieve and how much time and training you are willing to devote to become independent within say 6 months to a year. It really isn't that it has to make good money, it's how good are you at building the business you choose. One of the reasons for failure in a home based business is that we never work on ourselves and devote time to getting proper training to succeed in that particular business. Just like being on a job that hires you from day one you will receive training, later on you could be ask to receive on going training if you get promoted, then again another training to learn the new job. Well if you are willing to work the business there is a company you can start for less than $100 and if your willing to work hard at it can earn you an excellent income not just in the next few months but for a life time. This is a legitimate company that has been around for 22 years. I have been with it since 1999.

Your question is the start to a sure-fire way of loosing $2000 "Fast".
A few legitmate businesses can be started with the kind of money that you have. A lawn service, gardening, home cleaning, etc. The start-up cash required is small for the equipment that you need, and you should look into insurance.
If you want to stay at home, then buy an inventory of materials and make something with your hands, like beaded jewelry, painted items, etc. $2000 would go a long way to buying craft materials that you might need.
Stop and think for yourself, before someone else comes up with a great way for you to loose $2000 permanently and not make any return on it. |
