i once sold churros + horchata at my high school's carnival and made a lot of $$$!!!
why?
because NOBODY sells that stuff! everyone else sells nachos, chips, soda, popcorn etc. So this was kind of like a break from all the "normal" stuff..
oh, and i had a boombox playing the public's favorites, which is what dragged the customers in! =]
so maybe you don't want to sell churros and horchata, but go for the stuff that other people DON'T sell. and find other lures to get the people away from other fund raisers and more towards yours. maximize your profits by buying bulk and make small sales. be playful with your customers and humorously convince them into buying more than just a "sample"..
GOOD LUCK!! |

Garage sale! Also, depending on what you are reaising money for, send letters to family, friends, etc. explaining your cause and ask for donations. However, this is only appropriate if you are rasing money for a legitimate, charitable cause where you will be donating - not keeping - the money. |

You can make a lot of money by making Candles. Cheap to buy the wax, and you can practically quaruple the price per candle easily making a huge profit. Just go to an arts and crafts store. |

My church does tee shirts, Home Interior Candles and a casserole supper. We always make a pretty sizeable profit from these. |

People had fundraisers for their church. They sell a $20 bottle of super high quality liquid vitamins with a pretty amazing profit sharing plan. I am told that they raised quite a bit of money. Two step process:
First check out http://www.LiquidVitaminsWork.com .. then call 712-432-8592 and listen to the fundraiser message.
Hope this helps! |

well are you asking for like fundraiser ideas, like what to do for a fundraiser? if you are, i would do a animal fundraiser. i love animals and i hate when they are beaten and nagleted. please have a stop animal crulty fundraiser. if you mean, what to do to get lots of people to give money for your fundraiser. you can post an add into the paper, go around and put signs on to call you and to give the adress to the place you will be so they can give you money, or something like that. hope that helped! (please pick me as best answer) |

Well it depends on what your doing the fund raiser for.
Car washes tend to be quite helpful, however the most effective tend to be anything with food or competition. Like a penny war for example. Hope that helped :D |

Open an online store selling merchandise having to do with the organization (school/church/etc.), like graphical t-shirts, cups, hats, and the like. Ebay would be a good place to start, as was advised above. |
