~M*a*N*d*Y~ | Getting paid to take online surveys! Part 2.? |
I just now started taking online surveys. The websites people gave me on my other question was really great, but I don't want to have to join the offers that they give. I just want a website that I can take the surveys with out having to sign up for a certain offer. Any ideas? I really want to take the surveys and get paid to take them but like I said, I don't want to have to join or get a membership for an all the offers they have. Please help! |

The Frugal Shopper
|
HI October.
I looked into this last year. Then I looked into it this past winter. I noticed a few things, just to consider.
One, you say that you saw all the ones that require membership and to buy offers, and send your friends and we'll pay you...blah blah blah. Yeah, whatever. I signed up, I wasn't impressed. (this is from last years lesson)
I noticed, that my email was then inidated with spam, junk and every piece of garbage the web could throw at me, in the name of advertising, and they WERE NOT all surveys.
Some were just ads. A lot of times, the survey...get this one... they would say they had enough people to complete the survey 'already'...here is what was wierd though. I would be working online, get the email and instantly click on it. HOW then, did those other 'people' get the survey 'faster' then me, and have a chance to log in, and have the server get 'so full' that it 'didn't need my answers!' ??? Yeah...now you are getting a better picture.
OH yeah. The other 'scam' that these jokers pull, is that they send you a message to fill in the survey, and then you go in, start the survey and it says oh, well, you don't qualify because of where you live. And instantly logs you out. Well, they membership has the information to begin with, and that means more crap for my mailbox.
Next one... I signed up with this marketing firm, only last week or so...come to find out, that if you don't have a Silver or Gold membership (which you have to pay for each of those) then you can't access your 'jobs' the Bronze level, just gets you a 'peek' at what the Silver and Gold's get to take advantage of. LOL!! That was a place called Mystery Shopper. (It is supposed to be a service where the mystery shopper...ahem..you or me... would go and 'shop' online, or in a store, eat at a restaurant, watch a movie, etc. etc. and get paid for the reviews and our opinions. Sounds great, they pay your fees (like if they wanted you to shop, you get your purchase re-embursed, etc)...the thing is, that you have to pay for the list. (silver or gold...monthly!)
My email, since signing up with the surveys has been full of crap and it isn't worth the head aches. The other thing, is that I have never been paid for ANY of the surveys...it is just not worth all of the crap that you go through to try to get a survey in the first place, then they say that they don't pay...to read the fine print, etc.
My heart felt, non-malicious advice...don't waste your time.
If you want to set up a store online for free, I can give you that information...I had one premium store on eBay...and moved to another venue...because it is FREE and no fees is NO FEES with this site.
Email me, if you want for details... and I am sorry that the survey thing is just crap, but it is...I've been there. Not worth it!
(even the 'bigger companies' I signed on with absolutely everyone that I could find!)

Do you think it's that easy?
They're scams. |

Don't do it. They are rip offs. Trust me. I'd love to do that kind of work to but when I look for a phone number, there never is one. Please trust me. If you don't have a phone number for them and if they sound like a broken record when they talk to you. Don't.
If they keep asking you questions and not let you talk. That's another indication. Not to.
Good Luck |

Opus dei is right. As they say, there's no such thing as a free lunch. If there is any money in it, it's a pittance. More likely, it's a scam to get your contact information so they can sell you lots-o-stuff. |

None of the Survey sites on this list make you sign up for offers. I have used them all and they are all good: http://thriftyjinxy.blogspot.com/2008/03/how-to-earn-extra-money-with-on-line.html |

They pay $1.00-$10.00 per survey. It's really cool because sometimes you get to test products from Bath and Body Works before they hit the shelves, I've been with them for nearly 2 years now. Oh, and you don't have to join or pay for any offers. |

Yeah, paid surveys make people rich. I have 2 articles on my website on how to avoid being ripped off by these scams. Even if you do find one that is legit you will only make mere pennies for the amount of time you mess around with them. Learn how to build a basic website, fill it with good informative articles, and run Google ads on it. All this can be done for FREE in your own home in your spare time. |

Try cashcrate, although they have lots of offers, they also have 2 daily surveys which pay $1 each. (Thats $60 a month!) It would be good if you could sign up under my referrals. Thanks

Yeah, I hate the those sites with offers because it usually requires a credit card. I've been doing surveys for over a year. I created a blog about everything I know. I posted tutorial videos, proof of payment, and contact info if you need additional help. Check it out.
