First of all, you are in a very competitive market. One way you can get targeted traffic is with google adwords (ppc) campaigns. If you don't have much of a budget, you need to learn more about this before you start spending your money.
Then there is natrual search, or SEO. This takes a bit longer but is what you really need to work for. Plus it's free. There are several good programs that can teach this.
Get on some forums dealing with your market and learn from other as well. |

Firstly, you need to understand what marketing is about. I do not own a degree in marketing or ever studied marketing but I do have a biz mentor who showed me the ropes in marketing and sales.
He define Marketing as "Making the product easy to sell", and i personally list the following main points to consider and fulfil.
1) Packaging
2) Branding
3) Target Audience
4) Price
There are many aspects to each category i listed. By just depending on e-commerce will allow you to probably survive (get a sales here and there) but it will not gurantee you big success.
